迪斯尼动画的音乐向来为人们称道，《花木兰》更是以亲切的中华音乐打动了全球观众。Mulan的零售版本只有12首曲目，大大低于影片配乐，于是这支Promo CD成为了市场炙手可热的东东，网上竞拍达到400美元，是近年价格最高的Promo原声带之一。
该片是迪士尼第36部年度长篇动画巨片，首次采用中国古老的传奇故事“花木兰”，在600位多位迪士尼动画师，孜孜不倦历时四年的时间，将传说内容幻化为令人目不暇给的动画场面，其中当然不乏优美的配乐与令人捧腹大笑的幽默罗！
中国的故事被老外这么一改，感觉有点怪，不过音乐确实很棒。
